#TipfulTuesday: Pantone Color of 2017

We are so excited for the Pantone color of 2017! “Greenery” is a symbolic of new beginnings. With every marriage starts a new beginning in the couples life’s.  This is a color that can easily be incorporated into just about any wedding. We got to play with this year’s pantone color at the PWG luncheon at The Ashton Depot this past month. Check out how we incorporated “Greenery” into our color palette!

Simple touches by adding the pantone color in with the napkin and water glasses.

What better way to add it in than your flowers!

You can even add the “Greenery” pantone color into your menu.

Tipful Tuesday: Pantone {plus…Color Trend Alert}

Pantone Color System: {SBE Definition} A universal language of color.

I was recently asked to speak to the wonderful Junior Woman’s Club of Fort Worth about Holiday Party Planning! During the presentation I actually learned that not everyone was familiar with the Pantone Color System. Sometimes even event planners forget that our knowledge isn’t known to everyone (although most is these days)…

Pantone is a fantastic way to communicate the exact color hue to each vendor during planning. This can be with stationary companies, florists, bakeries, photobooth vendors or lighting companies.

Insider Tip: Looking for the perfect shade of _____ (blue, pink, red, etc.)? Type “blue pantone” in to google images and voila… instant images of varying shades of blue. Pick one you love then hit up the Pantone website and order the swatches in your perfect color to give to your party planning team!

… As always – hire a professional to save a ton of your precious time to make sure everything is matchy-matchy (if you just adore your Pantone color) … or, not so matchy-matchy.
